Facilities
The Bell Helicopter Training Academy has 18 multimedia classrooms, maintenance training hangar, three technical labs, five Flight Training Devices, and business center with phones and internet access for use before class, after class, at lunch or during breaktime.
Our modern facility combines the latest innovations in training technology, the skills of multimedia specialists and a group of dedicated, highly competent instructors who will insure you achieve the optimum results from every training program.
Our flight training has been constructed on 120 acres just to the Northwest of the Texas Motor Speedway. The practice area (PA) has three runways, a 2000ft lighted North/South runway an 850ft North/South runway and an 1650ft East/West runway. There are four separate concrete landing pads and a 30 foot elevated platform for pinnacle landing/takeoff maneuvers. There is a Crash/rescue cab and full time Crash/rescue personnel and Fire truck on site. This entire site is dedicated solely for the use our flight training at the Bell Helicopter Training Academy. We are alone in the industry in making this kind of a commitment to ensure the safest possible training environment for our customers.
