- Stockyards Station - Shopping, dining and Texas-style entertainment. More than 30 unique shops and restaurants, and is also the Tarantula Steam Train terminal.
- White Elephant Saloon - The White Elephant Saloon opened in the early days of Fort Worth history and has remained an authentic old-west saloon.

- Texas Motor Speedway - Don't miss the action at the only raceway between Alabama and Arizona that brings the top names in NASCAR and Indy racing.
- Lone Star Park - You can wager on horse racing all year long at this beautiful, world-class racetrack in Grand Prairie. Lone Star Park offers live races many months of the year and full-card simulcasting year-round.
- Ameriquest Field in Arlington - Experience all the excitement of major league baseball in one of the most beautiful ballparks ever created. In addition to Texas Rangers games, the Ballpark in Arlington offers restaurants, a museum and art gallery, souvenir shops, and tours.
- Fort Worth Brahmas Hockey - Watch the high-speed excitement of Fort Worth's only professional sports franchise. The season runs from mid-October through March at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
- Dallas Stars Hockey - See the 1999 Stanley Cup Champion Dallas Stars face-off against the best of the NHL, September through April at the American Airlines Center.
- Texas Rangers - Watch the Texas Rangers play in The Ballpark in Arlington. The regular baseball season runs April through September.

- Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - Go on safari and discover a world of 1,100 exotics on this secluded 2,700-acre wildlife preserve.
MUSEUMS AND ATTRACTIONS
- Frontiers of Flight Museum - This museum is assembled mostly from artifacts from the University of Texas at Dallas Collection of Flight, one of the largest aviation archives in the country.
- Cavanaugh Flight Museum - The museum encompasses nearly 50,000 square feet of display area in four hangars containing aircraft spanning history from World War I through Vietnam, artwork, artifacts and a gift shop.
- Pate Museum of Transportation - A collection of antique automobiles, aircraft and a private railcar are housed here. In addition there are tanks, wagons, boats and a mock-up of a spacecraft. And the best part is that it's all free.
- The Sixth Floor Museum - Located in the former Texas School Book Depository, now the Dallas County Administration building, Dallas' official John F. Kennedy museum.
- Bass Performance Hall - This acclaimed multipurpose facility is the permanent home to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, Fort Worth Opera and Cliburn Concerts.
- The Meyerson - Home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the 2005 winners of the coveted International Music Award.
- Casa Mañana Theatre - Bringing theatre to Fort worth since 1936. Recognized as the "Best Live Theatre Company" by the Fort Worth Star Telegram readers poll.
- Fort Worth Museum of Science and History & Omni Theater - Since the mid-1980’s the Museum annually welcomes over 1 million visitors, making it the most popular cultural attraction in North Texas.
- Kimbell Art Museum - At "America's best small museum," the permanent collection features masterpieces by Fra Angelico, Caravaggio, El Greco, Cezanne,Matisse and Picasso, as well as antiquities, Asian, African and Precolumbian art.
- Sid Richardson Collection of Western Art - Permanently displays 60 masterworks by two great artists of the American West: Charles Russell and Frederick Remington.
LANDMARK ATTRACTIONS
- Sundance Square - Downtown Fort Worth's entertainment and shopping district, features a vibrant mix of restaurants, shopping, theatre, arts, movies, music, and more.
- Reunion Tower - This is the place to see Dallas in its entirety. The tower's observation deck, 50 stories above city streets, provides a 360-degree view. The vista includes Dallas' Uptown neighborhood and downtown, the many railroad tracks, the tree-lined Trinity River and Texas Stadium. Atop Reunion Tower, Antares Restaurant and Bar makes one full revolution every 45 minutes. Sunsets can be breathtaking.
- Grapevine Mills Mall - Grapevine Mills is the first super-regional, value-oriented megamall in Texas and the Southwest. The 1.5 million-square-foot mall is also one of the largest shopping centers in Texas and offers a variety of retail stores, manufacturers' outlets, department stores, off-price retailers and dining and entertainment venues.
